Two nights in a row! That's two this whole summer! A miracle.
Two nights in a row that is, that we have been able to sit outside on the deck. It's by no means warm, it's not even balmy, but it wasn't raining and it was pleasant enough to sit there and read a book and drink coffee. It was nice and peaceful, the only interruption was the dog asserting himself when a brave bee, cheeky crow or menacing magpie dared to enter the airspace over the garden.
And the added advantage of having an electronic reader, meant that I didn't have to move when it got dark. In fact I didn't even notice that it had turned dark, I only moved when I realized that I could no longer feel my toes! And I was just getting to a good part in the book too....
Lets hope we get at least another two this (week) summer!
