Fly me to the...

I had lovely walk today in my usual haunt.  Well it was lovely, except for the files.

It was like a scene from a cartoon with me as the main character.  I was chased by a bunch of very pi**ed of flies with ADHD.  All the way round the path, they attacked from every angle.  I don't know why they were so fed up with me!!  My arms were tired from swatting continuously, and my ears were sore from all the buzzing.....why do they always go for your ears?  I thought the only way I could get away from them would be to, in very cartoon-ish style, jump into a lake.  There's never a lake around when you need one.  Of course Rusty thought all this swatting was a great game, and joined in enthusiastically!!  His barking didn't deter the pesky flies.

I thought I would draw a picture to show my ordeal to you.  So I did, but I didn't know how to load it on here for you to look at, so I'll just describe the picture for you...

My drawings are all two dimensional and very Lowry-esq!

Picture....

A matchstick man or woman in this case (not sure how you tell the difference, long hair maybe??) stick hands up in the air with a cloud of black dots around her head (they're the files), posed in running motion on a path made of two parallel lines curving up and down.  And behind her a matchstick dog, peeing against one of the trees in the forest that are lined up all along the path.  All of these trees are all drawn in the style of Christmas trees, you know, a few triangles on top of one another and a square at the bottom (that's the only way I know how to draw trees!).  In front of her a big lake, well it's just a wavy circle really, but you know it's a lake because of the matchstick fish in there (more triangles).  The path goes all the way to the lake and she, the running matchstick person, is just at the end of it...

Maybe I should take up drawing instead of blogging....
