Why do I always find myself agreeing with controversial soccer players from Cork?
OK, I don't agree with everything he (Stephen Ireland) said, but I do agree with this bit:
“Ireland is reaping what it sowed,” he went on. “We built blocks of flats just for the sake of it and now there’s no one inside them. It cost huge amounts of money and nobody is in a position to pay."
BUT, as for the rest of his interview! I don't think he would have to shoot himself if he ever went back to Cork, I have a feeling there would be a queue..... And he is wondering why his future is uncertain!
Come on (Stephen) Ireland, get over yourself!!
