It's not unusual to say goodbye to somebody at an airport. And It's not unusual to be sad when you do.
So, if that's the case, then today I had a very usual day.
Once again I said goodbye to T2. And of course to my work mates. No more trips in the fireman's lift, no more getting lost in the corridors, no more sneaking up to the third floor to have a coffee (and a free chocolate) in The Chocolate Lounge. But on the plus side, no more having to take off my boots going through security!
Ironically, I am leaving a brand new building to go and work in a really old, but beautiful, one. Usually it's out with old and in with the new, trust me to get it the wrong way round...
The building may be old, but my job is new and I can't wait to start, so roll on Monday so I can say 'hello' and leave the goodbye's behind for this year!!
