I got into my car and drove to work this morning! What a treat!
No searching frantically before I go out for my bus pass.
No running across the road, dodging the traffic to get to the bus stop.
No standing at the stop, waiting patiently, hoping it comes on time.
No jostling with the other passengers to board the bus.
No ear piercing screams hugging and endless mindless chatter from the school children.
No more having to listen to the annoying tinny sound of other peoples iTunes because they have the volume on their iPod's turned up too high.
No more stopping and starting and endless ringing of the bell.
No jostling with the other passengers to disembark from the bus.
Just the peace and quite of my own car and Hector on the radio, entertaining me.
The only downside? I don't get to read.....
