This time two weeks ago I went to see Sting. Not that I would normally like to look at 59 year old men in tight leather trousers, but in this instance I made an exception. I was very glad I did. It was an amazing performance from the man and the orchestra, who really got into the swing (sorry!) of things. But I am confused (as usual)! The tour is named Symphonicity, but he is touring with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Why not a Symphony orchestra? And whats the difference? Answers on my desk by 9am tomorrow.
note: I know I can look this up on the net, but this is way more fun!
Was school cancelled and nobody told teacher???
ReplyDeleteRight you're all in detention for not handing in your homework!!
Looks like I will have to look this up for myself....
I thought I posted an answer tht basically said they were no different to each other, just a way of identifiing orchestras from the same city......
